Consumer Rights Act for Businesses

 

Course objective:

By the end of the session delegates will have a thorough understanding of customers’ rights to help them stay within the law when dealing with a complaint.

 

Course outline

  • The Consumer Rights Act 2015 - covering consumer rights and trader obligations;
  • The requirements under The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013;
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

This training session has been designed to suit the needs of any retailer who sells goods or provides services to the public, both on the high street and online. Those colleagues who will get the most out of the session include:

  • Customer service staff;
  • Front of house staff;
  • Those dealing with customer complaints and agreeing remedies to the customer complaints.
