West Yorkshire Trading Standards Calibration Services, was the first Trading Standards Department in the United Kingdom to invest in a Coriolis meter for testing the accuracy of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) dispensers. We therefore have many years’ experience in the testing of LPG dispensers.
12.5mm stainless steel Coriolis meter, transmitter and sensor CENELEC compatible. The meter is mounted on a portable wheeled trolley and power is provided via a cable link to a 12 volt vehicle battery.
The meter is calibrated in house against local standard proving tanks and is traceable to United Kingdom National Standards.
The portability of the equipment means it is ideal for testing retail forecourt dispensers. It operates at flow rates of up to 30 litres per minute. All retail dispensers fall within this range.
Our personnel are trained and experienced in the safe handling of LPG. We operate within a specific safety method statement and risk assessment.
