Located just a five minute walk from Wakefield Kirkgate train station, the West Yorkshire History Centre is a contemporary space that hosts a number of events and exhibitions and is home to the Wakefield office of West Yorkshire Archive Service.
As part of West Yorkshire Joint Services, we are now able to offer meeting and conference space at this fabulous building which has ground floor level access.
Please note, the prices quoted below are inclusive of VAT. For eligible community groups and charities we do provide discounts for bookings of the Learning Zone.

The History Centre has a hot drinks machine and complimentary water cooler. The Learning Zone has drinks making facilities. The room is for hire on a self-service basis.
