Routes, networks and connections. Join us to celebrate Heritage Open Week and explore Wakefield’s development through historic maps. Staff at West Yorkshire History Centre and members of the Wakefield Historical Society will be offering free talks, tours and opportunities to get hands-on with archival maps and celebrate 100 years of the Historical Society. Hop on our giant floor map and time travel back 200 years. Free family friendly craft activities will also be on offer.
Free event, no booking require, drop-in. All welcome.
