To ensure emails sent to systems which do not support TLS data encryption standards can be safely received we are now using M365 Purview Message Encryption. You may receive a response to your email enquiry from a wyjs email account saying it has sent you a protected message. If you receive this response you will need to click on the Read the message link and follow the on-screen prompts to read the message, either by logging into the portal using your Microsoft account, your Google account, or by entering a one-time password that will be sent to your email address.

Opening hours

Please note: WYAS Kirklees office will be closed over the Christmas period from 23rd December 2024 - 3rd January 2025. The searchroom will reopen to the public on Monday 6th January.

All visitors are required to book their visit and order documents at least one week in advance. Please do not travel to our building without having received confirmation of your booking.

Appointments

Appointment must be made at least one week in advance of your visit. Please contact us by telephone 0113 535 3030 or by email kirklees@wyjs.org.uk to arrange your appointment. Please do not travel to our building without having received confirmation of your booking.

Facilities

An accessible toilet and baby change facilities are located on the premises. Please note that no food and drink can be consumed in the searchroom, but many cafes are located close by.
