Bradford Archive Service Opening Times and Information

Contact us

*WYAS Bradford is temporarily closed*

The West Yorkshire Archive Service Bradford office is currently closed to the public to carry out essential work to prepare the unique and irreplaceable archive collections to move into a new home.

The WYAS Bradford office will reopen to the public at a new location in 2025, details of this reopening will be announced on our website as soon as possible.

During this period of closure, the service will be responding to enquiries of an essential legal nature only. This is in order to minimise disruption to the necessary work to protect the archive collections during the relocation. Unfortunately, we will be unable to respond to enquiries relating to academic, family history or local history research during this time.

Thank you for your understanding.
