Upcoming Collections Week Closure
The Bradford office will be closed the week beginning 4th December. During this time we’ll be working to improve access to the Local Authority collections in our care and will only be able to answer urgent enquiries. Our normal enquiry and appointment service will resume on Monday 11th December.

WYAS Bradford is based in Bradford Local Studies Library. The entrance is on the side of Margaret McMillan Tower.
Car Parking
The closest council car park is the Sharpe Street car park. Details of local car parks can be found on Bradford Council’s Car Park information page. Disabled parking is available off Sharpe Street to the side of the Library.
From Monday 26th September Bradford’s Clean Air Zone will be in operation. The charges will not apply to passenger cars or motorbikes. Other vehicles may have to pay a daily charge when they drive in the CAZ unless they meet emissions standards or are exempt. Further information and a link to a vehicle checker can be found on the Council's website.
Public Transport
We are a 5-10 minute walk from Bradford Interchange Railway Station and Bus Station. Bradford Foster Square train station is a 15-20 minute walk away.
