About us – We turnover around £9m, employ c180 people and are proud of the extensive range of services we’ve been delivering since 1986 on behalf of West Yorkshire local authorities - Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield.   Some of these services such as Trading Standards, Archives and Archaeological Advisory Services fulfil a statutory role in our region, whilst others - Analytical Services, Materials Testing, Archaeological Services and Calibration Services provide a first class commercial resource which supports businesses locally and nationally.  We even have international links too. Our strategic roadmap sets out a number of ambitious growth plans that focuses on enabling social and economic prosperity.

About you - This role will take the lead on our marketing function and is the perfect opportunity if you are looking to progress in your career and already have some good experience within a commercial B2B setting.  You’ll be ambitious, organised, driven by results and used to working in an ever-changing environment that demands a balance of a strategic and pragmatic approach to customer led marketing.  There’s not a need to have specific experience in the services we offer, but you will be required to quickly gain an understanding of the fundamentals of what we deliver.
