Salary Scale: WY05 £20,660 to £22,658 FTE (Indicative)

Permanent - 20 hours per week

Based in Morley, Leeds

Are you an enthusiastic and flexible individual who likes to do a good job and work as part of an exciting team? Our values are We Care, We Protect, We Innovate and we have an opportunity within our Resources Service for a Facilities Officer. The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, flexibility and a proactive approach. There will be a range of duties which include the following:

  • Liaison with and coordination of contractors to support both the maintenance of the main WYJS site and also the specialist equipment we operate.
  • Oversight of BMS, CCTV, fire and security system.
  • Supervision of cleaning and opening/securing the site.
  • Updating the online helpdesk.

Applicants should have experience of facilities management in a multi-use site, prioritising workloads and the ability to communicate effectively with contractors and colleagues. The successful candidate will have NVQ level 2 qualifications or extensive experience and will be computer literate with knowledge of the Microsoft Office package. Based at our HQ in Morley, the postholder will be required to work flexibly when required.
