Based in Morley, Leeds 

Part of West Yorkshire Joint Services, West Yorkshire Trading Standards (WYTSS) is an exciting and fast paced organisation serving five District Councils within West Yorkshire – Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield.

West Yorkshire Financial Exploitation and Abuse Team (WYFEAT) 

Established in 2016 this multi-agency task force undertakes complex criminal investigations, safeguarding victims and vulnerable adults in the community and also undertakes confiscation cases to remove assets from offenders and compensate victims. The types of cases WYFEAT investigate include scams, frauds and doorstep crime. 

Alongside investigating criminality, the successful candidates will work with other key agencies including the Police and social workers to ensure that appropriate safeguarding measures are in place, whilst also liaising with victims of financial abuse to prevent further exploitation.
