This course focuses upon the civil legal framework for the supply of good and services. It explores in detail the Consumer Rights Act 2015 which has replaced the Sale of Goods Act.
This course provides a basic introduction to average weight and how packaged goods are regulated. It covers traceability back to national standards, the packer rules and the consequence of failing reference tests and supplying inadequate packs.
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the common food labelling requirements under the Food Information Regulations 2014 and other relevant national provisions to include nutrition and allergen labelling. Focus will also be given to on nutrition and health claims giving attendees the confidence and understanding to enable them to develop legally compliant labels.
Additionally attendees will gain an overview of a Food Business Operators responsibilities in relation to traceability, recall, quantity and Feed Hygiene Registration.
